Revista Brasileira de Produção Científica (RBPC) is an independent, multidisciplinary, open-access scholarly journal published through continuous publication in annual volumes. Its mission is to disseminate original research, reviews and professional experiences that contribute to scientific knowledge and socially relevant practice.
Aims and scope
RBPC welcomes scholarly contributions in the humanities, social sciences, health sciences and interdisciplinary fields, with emphasis on education, health, psychology, management, technology, law, professional practice and intersections among these areas. The journal is intended for researchers, faculty members, undergraduate and graduate students, professionals, managers and other readers interested in its subject fields.
Publication model
RBPC publishes accepted articles continuously throughout the calendar year within one annual volume. Scientific articles undergo editorial screening and double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent external reviewers. A third review may be requested when needed.
Languages and international metadata
Full manuscripts may be submitted in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Regardless of the manuscript language, title, abstract, keywords and author affiliation metadata must be supplied in Portuguese and English. Spanish metadata are additionally required for manuscripts written in Spanish.
Open access and licensing
All published content is immediately available without subscription or pay-per-view charges. Authors retain copyright and published articles use the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Publisher, ownership and management
The journal is published, owned and managed by Revista Brasileira de Produção Científica (RBPC), an independent editorial operation based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Editorial decisions are under the responsibility of the journal's editors and are independent of publication fees and other financial considerations.
