Transparency and editorial quality

RBPC maintains an ongoing program to align its operation with international editorial standards and the technical requirements of scholarly indexes and directories. This page does not imply automatic acceptance by any indexing service.

Implemented measures

  • eISSN 3086-6944, public journal identity, aims, scope, audience and publishing schedule;
  • double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent external reviewers in scientific sections;
  • public policies covering ethics, generative AI, conflicts of interest, data, complaints, corrections and retractions;
  • CC BY-NC 4.0 licensing, author-retained copyright and self-archiving;
  • Portuguese and English metadata for published records, including titles, abstracts, keywords and affiliations;
  • OAI-PMH, machine-readable scholarly metadata and individually registered, resolving Crossref DOIs;
  • operational backups, checksums and restoration testing.

Current limitations

  • The journal has a recent formal publication history, which will continue to grow.
  • Geographic diversity of authors and editors should expand organically while preserving merit-based editorial standards.
  • RBPC does not currently claim membership in an institutional long-term preservation network.
